Service Technicians
As a Service Technician you will be involved in all aspects of maintenance and repair from routine servicing to complete component overhaul of vehicle systems. Electronic fault diagnosis using the latest diagnostic equipment now forms part of the every day routine in Volkswagen retailers.

Technicians are also vital to customer care. The service provided by the workshop is a major factor considered by customers when they decide to replace their car.

You are required to have a keen interest in the motor vehicle industry and be fully committed to completing the course to become a highly skilled, highly-motivated Technician.
Qualifications to Achieve
  • NVQ Level 2 progressing to NVQ Level 3, in Maintenance and Repair of Light Vehicles
  • Key and Core Skills Certificates
  • IMI Technical Certificate
  • Advanced Apprenticeship Completion Certificate

Parts Advisor
Volkswagen Parts personnel are essential team members within the retailer.The Parts Department plays a vital role in selling parts and accessories, as well as providing assistance to both the Service and Vehicle Sales Departments in helping them to work effectively.

As an Apprentice Parts Advisor you will be required to combine your IT skills, outgoing personality, technical knowledge and customer service skills to provide parts support to the motor industry.

  • NVQ Level 2 progressing to NVQ Level 3, in Vehicle Parts Operations
  • Level 2 Key and Core Skills Certificates
  • IMI Level 2 Technical Certificate and IMI Level 3 Diploma
